Bristol Ageing Better starts its conversation work

The Bristol Older People Big Lottery Fund (Ageing Better), bid is gathering pace with the launch of its website http://www.bristolageingbetter.org.uk. Known as Bristol Ageing Better (BAB), the partnership, which is submitting the bid is being led by Bristol Age UK.

The work is now moving into its consultation period. Partners are holding conversations with older people across the city to hear what they think is important in addressing loneliness in Bristol. The work will help create a vision and strategy which will support the final bid. The consultation period started Monday 3 February and will finish on Friday 7 March.

If you would like to get involved and can facilitate a consultation event or exercise with older people, documents are available on the BAB website to assist you. Any group interested in getting involved should check the web site to link into other work in their area, the BAB partnership are developing a series of leads to coordinate the work across the city.
