Health and Social Care consultation

Bristol City Council is undertaking work to transform the way social care is delivered in the city, in order to enable people to have more choice and control and to ensure appropriate social care provision for the future.

As part of this process, the Equalities team at the Council have been working with other departments to ensure that Health and Social Care provision takes into account the diverse range of needs of local people when designing and commissioning services.

Keen to involve people in the Social Care Transformation Program, three meetings have been arranged to offer people with specific needs the opportunity to take part in the consultation and have their views heard.
The sessions will also incorporate consultation on residential and day opportunities.
