Extend - BBC Disability Scheme

Exclusively for disabled people, Extend is an award winning, BBC-wide work placement scheme which offers appropriately expereinced and / or qualified people a great opportunity to gain six months' paid work experience within the BBC.

Although the scheme does not necessarily lead to a full time job, last year more than half of its intake gained further work at the BBC.

From September 2010, over 20 placements will be available across the UK, in both programming areas and programme support areas.  Applicants will need to match the criteria for the placement as well as demonstrating a keen interest in broadcasting and a knowledge of BBC output.

Applications need to be received by 06 April 2010.
