This is a practical course that will help make sense of year end accounts and to know what questions to ask.  The course will also help participants to present accounting information to others and to use financial information more effectively.

This course will include:

• Who needs accounts?  What information do we hope to get from accounts?
• Going through an example set of year-end accounts and identifying all the jargon and terminology involved
• Glossary of terms
• Identifying the questions to ask in order  to assess the financial health of an organisation
• Practical exercise in interpreting an example set of accounts
