Countryside & Gardens Trainee
We are looking to welcome someone to join our outdoors team as a Countryside and Gardens Trainee at Tyntesfield.
Tyntesfield is a Victorian country estate with a mansion, farmland, woodland, formal garden and walled kitchen garden. The estate provides a rich habitat for several rare species including bats, greater crested newts, waxcap fungi and orchids. There are areas of semi ancient woodland, softwood plantations, public rights of way, woodland walks and both arable and pasture which is leased to a local farming company. The garden is varied consisting of formal parterres, rose garden, rock garden, boating pond, arboretum, and a working kitchen garden complex including vegetable garden, glasshouses and orangery.
This role will provide an opportunity to work with the garden team in the formal and kitchen gardens as well as with the warden team on the wider estate. Tyntesfield has a large range of community groups and volunteer who help us on the property, a key part of this role is to work with and alongside these groups.

Full training will be provided.
Free accommodation is available onsite in a shared flat if required.
