Trustee - Management Team Committee Member - Bristol Crisis Service for Women

The Bristol Crisis Service is a charity run by women set up for women and girls who self injure. It offers both a helpline and text and email service for women to use. We are looking to appoint new trustees to join our team. The post is voluntary. It involves attending monthly management meetings to make decisions about the charity. We are looking for somebody who has an interest in the charity and its mission statement. The role means that you will be involved in Make and decide policy with the Management Committee, monitor finances, ensure that the charity is run within the rules and conditions of the Charities Commission, support, manage and develop the vision and work of the organisation and its service, communicate with employees, support the servies that are offered, make sure training continues, help maintain the Charities profile both formally and informally, assist with fund-raising, attend events and conferences and obviously attend regular trustee meetings.
