Description:
The British Red Cross and international law firm Allen & Overy have recently teamed up to create exciting new resources that promote understanding of Justice and Fairness and International Humanitarian Law in schools. The Swerve project will work in two schools in Avon and two schools in Wiltshire to empower young people to deal with conflict in their own lives and communities. The aim of the project is to train 8-12 peer educators in each school in the principles of IHL and to inspire them to communicate these themes to their fellow students through Youth Action Projects.
