Description:
TESS is a national text and email support service for girls and young women who are affected by self-injury. We offer emotional support for girls and young women via text and email. The service is confidential and non-judgmental.
Everyone who works on TESS will go through an initial training covering communication skills, working with people who self-injure, young people's experience of school and home and relationships and sexuality. once people work on the service they are part of a team and have regular supervision.
