Pride of Place Award winners announced

The first Pride of Place awards celebrating the work of community groups, public and private sector partners working together in their Neighbourhood Partnerships (NP) were announced at an award ceremony in the M Shed on 27 July. Voscur and the Black Development Agency were pleased to sponsor the Stronger Communities Award.

The award recognises the NP that was successfully supporting community involvement, volunteering and working with community organisations. The winner of the Stronger Communities Awards 2011 is Avonmouth and Kingsweston Neighbourhood Partnership.
