Meeting to assess health impacts of the Bristol Development Framework

27 Feb 2008 - 09:00
27 Feb 2008 - 12:00

Venue: The Council House, College Green, Bristol, BS1

As part of the process to guide development in Bristol over the next 20 years, the council produced an Issues and Options Paper last summer. Many people kindly attended a health impact assessment meeting in October and your input, along with health related information from the more than 200 public consultation responses, helped shape the Preferred Options Paper which was published for consultation today. More information can be found at http://www.bristol.gov.uk/ccm/content/Environment-Planning/Planning/planning-policy-documents/new-policy-docs/core-strategy.en

The council are asking for input again, to assess whether the new paper has sufficiently addressed any concerns raised and also to consider ways that the final core strategy could still be changed in order to maximise opportunities for healthy, sustainable living.
