Pro-Choice Meeting
Trinity Centre

This public meeting marks a resurgence in the pro-choice campaign as the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill makes it's way though parliament. This Bill will present opportunities for anti-abortion MPs and Lords to attack the Abortion Act, but it also gives us the best opportunity we have ever had to positively reform the abortion law.
We believe it is time that the 1967 Abortion Act was reformed to meet the needs of British women in 2008. We believe that all women in Britain should have the equal right to access abortion services, regardless of their location, how much money they have or the personal/religious views of their doctors.
Law reform is really within reach, with enough support we can improve women's access to and experience of abortion in the UK.
The meeting will hear a range of short contributions from invited speakers followed by time for contributions thoughts and ideas from the floor.
Have your say and get involved – all pro-choice supporters welcome!
