Training - Working with Young Refugees

This daylong training will cover:
• Global and the UK context of asylum
• Terminology
• Statutory entitlements of young asylum seekers and refugees
• Good practice
• Access to resources

Target audiences:
Social workers, youth workers, teachers, LEA staff and anyone working or wanting to
work with children in voluntary and private sectors.

Cost:
£70 per person for private/statutory and voluntary organisations
£30 per person for community organisations with less than 5 staff
Invoice, payable in advance (unless otherwise agreed), will be issue once a place is
booked.
Cost includes day’s training (from 10 AM to 4PM), handouts, light lunch and our
trademark yummy doughnuts with coffee!!!
