Community Consultation Meeting of CYPS's equal opportunities support needs

Bristol City Council's Children and Young People's Services (C&YPS) are reviewing how we provide support to our key stakeholders on equalities issues.

We are asking our key stakeholders to tell us what equal opportunities issues you consider need to be addressed or improved upon by C&YPS. We are involving C&YPS staff, schools, parents/carers and community members.

When referring to equal opportunities we are thinking of both the

• Impact of policies and activities and whether they are narrowing the gap of disadvantage for vulnerable groups
• Involvement of people from equalities groups in designing services and monitoring their impact.

Please could you attend a meeting on Tuesday 4 March 2008 at the Woodward centre, Alexandra Park, Fishponds BS16 2BG to give us your views.
