Level 3 youth work training

Youth work can be a challenging and rewarding career where you engage young people in a variety of activities. At the same time you will have your own ideas and beliefs challenged and at times be directly confronted by a young person.

The level 3 youth work course is designed to enhance your skills to be able to work as a qualified leader in charge. If you are considering youth work full time then it will provide the necessary evidence and some of the study skills for the university course

The sessions will involve discussion and time to reflect on your practical experience as a youth worker

To complete the course you will need to do 120 guided learning hours and 120 hours in placement. Ideally you will have some youth work experience before doing the course and one GSCE or the equivalent.
