Are we designing young people out of public spaces?

Talk and debate: Thursday, 27th March 2008 - 18.30pm
The Architecture Centre, Narrow Quay, Bristol BS1 4QA

Young people are key to sustainable neighbourhoods - but is public space
becoming less and less welcoming to young people, particularly the design of
new/regenerated public space? This debate is one of a series organised
across the UK by The Glass-House Community Led Design and the Young Advisors
Resource Network (YARN), concerned with exploring these issues.

Chaired by Sophia de Sousa, Chief Executive, The Glass-House. Panel members
include Scott Farlow Artist, Ricardo Sharry - Bristol Young Advisor, Greg
White Landscape Designer, LOCI Design and Amy Harrison - Education
Manager, The Architecture Centre.

We hope the debate will provide an opportunity for young people and
professionals to exchange ideas and experiences on this important topic.

This is a free event. Please book at The Glass-House, Tel. 020 7490 4583 or
