Our April BAN event is focusing on innovative ways of attracting financial investments to social enterprises. In January 2008 the findings of the Wessex Reinvestment Trust’s ‘Financial Mechanisms Research Project’ were made public and at Voice08 the idea of a ‘national social stock exchange’ has been given some clout. How can these financial models help the sector grow?
There will also be an opportunity to engage in a discussion about the Social Enterprise Mark (the ‘fair-trade style’ identity for social enterprises).
