Helping You Map and Plan the Participation of Children and Young People

  • Why is it important to involve children and young people in service delivery?
  • How do you use the Hear by Right Self-Assessment Tool to measure and improve the involvement of young people?

The Big Lottery Fund are encouraging Community, Voluntary and other Third Sector organisations to use the Hear by Right participation standards framework to assess and to improve their levels of participation by children and young people. The local tranche of the Young People’s Fund 2 is due to be launched next month, and Hear by Right will be a good way to show evidence of how well the participation is built in.

Workshops are FREE to Voluntary, Community and other Third Sector organisations and £85 for statutory organisations (1 person per organisation).

The workshop will be held at the Burwalls Centre, Bridge Road, Leigh Woods, Bristol BS8 3PD
