Refugee Week is a UK-wide programme of arts, cultural and educational events that celebrate the contribution of refugees to the UK, and encourages a better understanding between communities.

This year events start early: there will be a range of activities from 12th to 22nd of June. Music, dance, film, football, visual arts, poetry, debate and discussion events are planned for the week, offering an opportunity for everyone to come together at different locations around the city. A few local places to mention are The Netham, Barton Hill, Fishponds, St Paul’s, Queen Square also Temple Meads Train Station. Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the events on offer - many of which are free.
