We need your input and ideas on developing a Virtual Farmers' Market for Bristol!

Bristol's bid to create a Virtual Farmer's Market (VFM) has won through to the next stage of the NESTA Big Green Challenge competition. The initiative aims to transform Bristol's food beyond being simply 'local' to consider the complete life-cycle of food - from field to plate. By making it easy for communities to access sustainable, local, healthy food, this initiative aims to improve the health and wellbeing of both people and planet.

The deadline for the bid is 9th June and Bristol Food Links is working with Connecting Bristol and others to develop this important initiative. We will be holding an open collaboration session on 29th May to achieve the following:

- Generate innovative ideas
- Provide feedback on the draft Virtual Farmers Market bid
- Agree priorities and opportunities for the Virtual Farmers Market
- Sign-up organisations and individuals to support the VFM bid and start to build the community that will support and champion the project

Your input on the development of this initiative is vital and this event is your opportunity to feed in what your and your community's needs are around food - and how we can best address this through a Virtual Farmers' Market.

Held at Connecting Bristol, First Floor, 11-19 Wine Street, Bristol BS1 2PH
