Dementia Strategy Consultation

Do you have dementia or are you a carer, family member or supporter of someone with dementia?

Following the Department of Health Listening events, the National Dementia Strategy is due for publication in early June. The consultation events are planned to explore the content and how this will be taken forward by health and social care organisations. Final publication is due in October 2008 following this period of consultation.

Service users and carers are entitled to payment of expenses and a fee for their time, (£25 for the session 10am to 12.30pm). A sandwich buffet lunch is also provided.

Your comments are welcome by logging onto the Department of Health Website, attending a consultation event or by writing to the Department of Health.

The consultation events are informal meetings which you can choose to attend either during the morning or afternoon.
