Representation Under the Microscope.

One of the things that the Voscur Network does for its members is to ensure that there is representation onto existing strategic groups. There are groups represented only by Voscur Reps, and Voscur has also worked jointly with the Black Development Agency (BDA) and the Care Forum to ensure joint representation on other groups.

We would like to use the next Network Meeting to examine the role of Reps for the voluntary and community sector.

Is Representation:

• The best way to engage with statutory services?
• Able to influence decisions made at a strategic level?
• A voice for the voluntary sector?

This meeting is for voluntary and community sector network members ONLY and is deliberately 'speaker-free' so that the two hours can be dedicated to open discussion and networking with your fellow voluntary organisations.
