Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare
The Avon Association of Drama returns to the Dairy Garden at Blaise Castle with its new raked audience area offering a good view of the acting area from all positions. Bring your own small chair or rug to avoid having to sit on the unyielding grass throughout the performance! A strong cast of local talent has been assembled under the direction of Marie O'Sullivan and all the portents are for an exciting and energetic production of one of Shakespeare's most popular plays. In addition a youth production of "Us and Them" by David Campton, directed by Sally Noble will be performed on Friday 18th at 18:00 and Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th at 16:30 and 18:00 employing young actors from the Bristol area so as to introduce youngsters both onstage and in the audience to the pleasures of open air theatre.
