Dealing with Racist Behaviour in Play Settings

This training course is provided by Bristol Association for Neighbourhood Daycare Ltd (BAND).
This course aims to:
- Enable participants to recognise the impact of racial harassment & racist abuse.
- Look at dealing with incidents in out of school clubs, as well as the wider issues of approaches to anti-racism.
- Give participants the impetus & confidence to begin to develop practical ideas around anti-racist play to develop in their settings.
Tutor: TBC - SARI (Support Against Racist Incidents) is a voluntary black-led agency run by people who have suffered racial harrassment.
Refreshments: Tea, coffee & squash provided.
Cost: Free to all Bristol-based childcare workers, however a £10 refundable deposit per person is required to secure a place. £20 to all others. Separate cheques payable to 'BAND Ltd' please.
