Creating Father Inclusive Services

A Fatherhood Institute training course facilitated by the Children's Workforce Learning Network held at Plymouth Pavilions, Plymouth, PL1 3LF.

The Children's Workforce Learning Network is pleased to offer this training FREE of charge.

Trainees will:

• explore and develop strategies to engage with fathers
• begin to develop the confidence, knowledge and skills to work effectively with fathers
• discover a 'whole team' approach to engaging fathers.

The course includes exploration of:

• what children need from their fathers
• barriers and bridges to positive father-child engagement in early years services
• the personal and cultural issues which shape our perceptions of men/fathers
• effective consultation with fathers and mothers.

Places are limited so please book as soon as possible to secure your place. Closing date for bookings is 5 September.

Please note: though the training is free, a charge of £45 per delegate will be payable for any booking cancellations made past the closing date.
