Healthcare In Bristol – The Next Three Years (After the Darzi Review)

23 Sep 2008 - 10:30
23 Sep 2008 - 12:30
Held at The Vassall Centre Fishponds Bristol

Bristol Primary Care Trust (PCT) is inviting members of the Care Forum Health and Social Care Network to discuss the PCTs draft objectives for developing health services in Bristol.

The PCT is required to draw up a Strategic Framework, which will set out its strategic objectives for improving health and healthcare in Bristol over the next three years. The PCT Strategic Framework is based upon the NHS regional Strategic Framework. These regional plans for the south west of England reflect government plans for the future of the NHS, which were set out recently in a document called High Quality Care For All – the final report of the next stage review, also known as the Darzi Review.

As well as these government and regional priorities, it is important that the PCT understands the concerns and aspirations of the third sector in Bristol – so please come along on Tuesday 23rd September and tell us what you think.
