Maternity and Newborn Services Review Consultaiton meeting

Local people have a chance to comment on suggested changes to
maternity and newborn services provided in Bristol, South
Gloucestershire and North Somerset.

Local Primary Care and NHS Trusts began a review into the services
in 2006 and following extensive meetings and feedback from parents,
staff and experts they have drawn up goals and suggestions for how the
services will change. They are taking a fresh look at how maternity
services are provided in the area so that every parent and baby has the
best possible experience of birth and early days.

Local people can comment from 30 June until 17 October and public
meetings have been planned for Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North
Somerset.
