Building on the success of last year's event that attracted over 800 people, this years festival will be a week long extravaganza running from 29 September to 4 October. The week will culminate in a day of celebration on the 4 October at the Council House where older people can enjoy events and activities to appeal to every taste including speakers, theater, arts activities and demonstrations. Entertainment will range from the light hearted WW2 musical Doodlebugs and Bogeymen, to workshops teaching the latest Salsa moves. Whether you are looking to take up a new activity, are in need of a gentle massage or simply looking for a fun day out you will find something to satisfy you during the Celebrating Age Festival.
