Child Protection Training - The Play & Early Years Training Unit

Course Title: Child Protection - An introduction to Playing Safe, Safeguarding Children.

Course Aim: To familiarise practitioners with essential information on safeguarding children from abuse.

Course Details:

This course is underpinned by the Playwork and Early Years
principles and will identify the importance of understanding the role
of the practitioner in relation to safeguarding children. The course is
participative and interactive and is accompanied by robust course
materials.

Entry Requirements: No specific requirements.

Venue: The Barton Hill Settlement, 41-43 Ducie Rd, Lawrence Hill, Bristol, BS5 0AX

Cost: £40 (per person) for those working in Early Years, Childcare and/or Playwork within the Bristol Local Authority area.
