Do you want to move your organisation away from grant funding? Do you have an idea for generating income through trading or social enterprise? More and more voluntary and community organisations are realising the potential of trading and social enterprise to diversify their income. This interactive workshop “Getting Ready for Enterprise” led by expert facilitators from National Council for Voluntary Organisations’ (NCVO) Sustainable Funding Project will enable you to:
- Explore ideas for social enterprise products or services
- Understand the skills and resources needed to put a trading idea into practice
- Research the market and find ideas that will compete and sell
- Get constructive feedback and advice on your trading idea
Who’s it for? This training is for managers, development officers and trustees of organisations that have an income generation idea and want to put it into practice.
