Government spending on charities figures published

The Office of the Third Sector has published figures of central government funding for voluntary and community groups from 1982 - 2006. Estimates of Central Government Expenditure on Voluntary and Community Organisations show that over £3bn - more than ever before - went to support VCS in 2005-06 (the most recent available figures).
