GOOD NEIGHBOUR AWARDS LAUNCHED

The annual Good Neighbour Awards scheme for organisations and projects in the Bristol and North Somerset area that actively contribute to their local community is seeking nominations.

Now in its 18th year the awards are supported and judged by partners Bristol City Council, Avon & Somerset Constabulary, Avon Fire Brigade, Bristol Evening Post, Kiss 101 radio, and St Peter’s Hospice. The awards are administered and sponsored by local fast-food business Miss Millie’s Fried Chicken.  A total of £1,100 prize money will be shared between the winning entries.

The closing date for nominations is Sunday 28 February 2010
