Operation Black vote and Channel 4 – Business Mentoring Programme

Operation Black Vote (OBV) believe that the media should reflect all aspects of British Society and that people from Black and other Ethnic Minority (BME) groups should have a bigger voice in the media world.  The fact is that they are under-represented at senior and middle management levels.

Channel 4 and OBV have come together to launch a ground-breaking new Business Mentoring programme.  Channel 4 believe that by improving the diversity of their talent and senior management levels, they can ultimately improve programme making.

The goal of the programme is to give six individuals from BME communities an insight into people, culture and the workings of Channel 4.
