Euro Petitions Live!

As part of a European pilot (http://www.europetition.eu/) Bristol City Council are trialing a process which allows Bristol citizens to raise online petitions for consideration directly by the European Parliament. Each petition is translated into a range of European Languages and displayed on websites in other UK Cities and in Italy, Spain, Netherlands and Sweden so it can also be viewed and signed by citizens in other member states.

The European Parliament will consider petitions which concern your rights as a European citizen, environmental matters, consumer protection, free movement of persons goods and services, employment issues, social policy, recognition of qualifications and other problems in relation to the implementation of EU law.
