Part Time, Volunteering Opportunity with Second Step.
Description:
Move-Ahead is an innovative new pilot project and an exciting opportunity to get involved in peer volunteering and mentoring.
We are looking to recruit people with lived experience who have moved on from temporary supported accommodation. You will be mentoring single people with varying needs currently living in hostels or other short term supported accommodation.
You will use your experience of the move-on process to encourage service users on to the next stage of their lives and into independent living.
Interviews will be held throughout July/August 2010, application should be returned as soon as possible. Core training will be held at the end of August.
