Hours: 18 hours per week – at NJC Scale Point 21-30 pro rata.
Candidates who meet all criteria will be appointed on Scale Point 26.
Funding for this post is until end of March 2011 intially, with a possible extention depending on future funding.
Description:
You will need experience in working with secondary school aged children. You will work in partnership with identified secondary schools in south Bristol, supporting children who are affected by drug & alcohol issues within their families during 1-1 sessions.
HAWKS is a drug and alcohol support service based in Hartcliffe, working with young people and families across south Bristol. The post will be part of the Early Intervention Service team and Opening Doors citywide services. If you have experience of working in / or live in Hartcliffe, Withywood or surrounding areas with knowledge of the communities in south Bristol this would be an advantage.
