Trustees - Quartet

Quartet Community Foundation enables local giving to communities across the West of England by connecting donors with voluntary groups who need funds to make things happen. Founded in 1987, the Community Foundation now manages endowment funds of some £15m and manages grant programmes for both statutory and charitable funders. In the last year, grants to the value of £2.9m were distributed to over 1,200 organisations. We aim to achieve a balanced and diverse Board, with a mix of skills, interests, experience and contacts. Trustees normally live or work in the Community Foundation’s area of benefit (Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire). Appointments are initially for a term of three years starting in October 2010. The positions are voluntary but reasonable expenses can be claimed.
