Details:
Half a day a week for a minimum of 6 months.
Description:
Further counselling support is urgently needed to meet the demand for a free Carers Counselling Service. Unwaged family carers have very complex issues to cope with such as changing roles, loss of self, bereavement, stress and anxiety. Some experience or an understanding of supporting carers is required.
An integrative approach is preferred and qualifications to a professional diploma or masters level in counselling are required. Counsellors seeking accreditation toward BACP accreditation or equivalent would be considered.
