We are looking for a friendly volunteer to assist us in our busy corporate fundraising department. Ideally, you will be able to help out for a minimum of 4 hours a day between Mondays and Fridays, for as often as you can! The role would involve basic administration duties to include filing, follow up phone calls to our challenge participants, data entry and mailings.

Description: 

We are CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading children's cancer charity, acting as a lifeline keeping families together when the unexpected happens. We provide clinical, emotional and practical support to those children, young people and their families.
Through a dynamic UK wide fundraising department, £20 million was raised in 2007, enabling ongoing support to children and young people with cancer.

We are looking for a new treasurer for Avonmouth Community Centre Association management committee. The post would be permanent for as long as the person was able to undertake role. Present treasurer estimates time spent about 3 hours average weekly, depending on the activity of the association.

The role includes keeping a record of all income and expenditure,ensuring rents of user groups paid and invoices as needed sent out, paying bills, banking income, liaising with Bristol Community Accountancy project who run our pay roll and end of year accouts, the community worker who keeps a record of all funds raised for current projects, and helping as needed and able to with fund raising.
