A showcase of open data projects developed in Bristol 2018-2020

Join us for an online event celebrating some of the amazing projects that have been developed through the Our Data programme.

Find out more about our local data projects and share information about your work with data.

Bristol has been leading the way on Smart City work and there is much to celebrate. This includes a range of data projects including the Period Friendly Bristol web app; to an app that providing information about the trees in Bristol; to artificial intelligence that predicts demand for the Bristol Soup Run Trust; as well as an Eco-route planner and more.

Note - before the impact of COVID-19, the City Innovation team was busy supporting the local data scene with an innovative Our Data programme (2018-2020). In March 2020 a celebration event was cancelled due to social distancing requirements, and the requirements for Bristol city Council to focus efforts on its COVID response. Now COVID and winter service pressures are beginning to ease, the data event has been rescheduled for 15th March 2021.

The event will be held on Zoom from 12.30 to 2pm. During the event there will be opportunities for networking, presentations, demonstrations and a workshop focused on deepening our knowledge of how data is used, can be used and how we can benefit from it.

Please email Bristol City Council's Open Data Team on opendata@bristol.gov.uk with any queries.

P.S. you may like to join the Our Data Meetup group - https://www.meetup.com/Our-Data that is linked to this event.
