Did you know that Bristol Ferry Boats provide educational trips for schools and community groups? We’re doing a free taster as part of Bristol Learning Festival and we hope your group will join us on Saturday April 4th for a Free Guided Tour of Bristol Harbour learning about the history of the Port of Bristol from the first Anglo Saxon Settlement of Brigstowe, through Bristol’s involvement in Transatlantic Slavery and its Abolition, to Brunel and finally its closure and regeneration.

We will call at Underfall Yard, at the heart of the Harbour since 1809 to learn about the creation of the Floating Harbour, visit the Victorian Workshop and see the yard’s hydraulic machinery in action.

Meet at Cascade Steps, 9:55, boat will depart at 10:00
