Join BSWN and Bristol City Council at a briefing session for Black Asian and Minority Ethnic organisations about the Bristol Impact Fund

About this Event

Dear colleagues,

As you may know, Bristol Impact Fund’s application window for the “Growing the Power of Communities” Programme that offers medium and large grants has been launched by Bristol City Council and is now live.

Co-facilitated by Bristol City Council, two sessions are available for Black Asian and Minority Ethnic community organisations to find out more details about the programme. We will be going through this documentation and you will have the opportunity to ask questions in the session.

You will be able to select one of the following two sessions, one in the day time and one in the evening, which will aim to explain the programme:

29th March 2021 between 5.00 and 6.00pm

31st March 2021 between 10.00 and 11.00am

In addition to promoting the fund, BSWN will be providing some support to Black Asian and Minority Ethnic organisations. After attending the Briefing Session, you will be invited to express your interest in receiving further support to develop your bid. There is only a limited number of 1-2-1 sessions available and therefore it would be helpful if you can start thinking about:

· The title of your project

· The objectives

· The activities

· Relevant links and networks that you will incorporate into your bid

· The results the project will generate

· How much funding you will need from Bristol Impact Fund

· Any contributions from other funders

Please sign up to your prefered session via our Eventbrite page here in order to receive the Zoom meeting details for the day.

We look forward to you joining us,

The BSWN Team

About BSWN

BSWN’s over-arching strategic intent is to build dynamic, independent, and strong Black communities, businesses and organisations that are empowered to flourish while challenging systemic barriers and forging a true path for themselves. We believe that only through this will we significantly address racial inequality.

Our work falls into three broad areas - Cross-sector Enterprise and Innovation; Cultural Inclusion; Research and Knowledge – with Scrutiny and Accountability and Representation and Power as over-arching themes that cut through all our work.
