This is the second meeting of the new West of England Community Transport Network, convened by Voscur (Bristol’s support and development agency for the Voluntary and Community Sector) and WERN (West of England Rural Network).

Meeting title: Keeping People Connected - links between WECA, the unitaries and community transport services.

A variety of community organisations provide transport services to help people travel throughout the West of England. Services include community minibuses, volunteer car schemes taking people to medical appointments, wheels to work schemes and regular scheduled transport. Representatives of those organisations will discuss the purpose and programme of the network. We have invited the transport leaders from Bristol, North Somerset, Bath & North East Somerset and South Gloucestershire – to discuss their plans for community transport and the contribution of diverse community organisations in keeping people in the West of England connected.

NB. This network and this event is for people from organisations that are currently delivering transport services in the West of England.
