Why attend?

The current Covid 19 and political context has recently added additional pressures for colleagues and organisations already engaged in rewarding but often challenging work. Now more than ever, organisations are seeking to set up reflective spaces for staff to connect with each other, to reflect, seek solutions and bring in perspective to their work in a safe and structured way.

This condensed training package offers an accessible space to help you and your organisation develop and expand reflective practice and realise the benefits of reflective practice.

Reflective Practice is increasingly recognised as a critical tool in the learning and development of teams and organisations and colleague wellbeing. Used widely by teams who work with people in nursing, social care settings, support and homelessness services, it has become recognised as a best practice tool in developing safe and forward thinking services. It is particularly helpful for organisations that manage complexity in fast-paced environments, which often require decisions to be made in the moment.

Feedback from participants

• "The workshops over-met my expectations, as I had not expected it to provide such an opportunity to drive the development of RP in my organisation and how this fits into the development of a PIE framework."

• "… has enabled me to create an action plan around developing RP. Useful to consider how RP sessions need to fit with our ethos and values and how it fits into our broader framework."

• "Making RP sustainable and resource / time required to meaningfully lead & embed was really useful."

• "This training has come out at the perfect time…[as] I had felt a bit stuck… and this training has given me clarity around how to move forward. Also very useful to build links with Dawn and Michelle who have been very helpful in sharing knowledge and advice. I highly recommend this training for anyone who is keen to develop RP and understand how this fits into creating and building a trauma-informed service."
