You are warmly invited to attend our Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM)

Do you live in Easton, Lawrence Hill, Redfield, St Judes, Whitehall, Old Market, The Dings, Barton Hill, Newtown or Greenbank?

If so, you have the opportunity as a member of Up Our Street to help us make some important decisions about our future.

WHEN?           Wednesday, 11 March at 6.30pm 

WHERE?         Easton Community Centre, Activity Room (1st Floor), Kilburn Street, Bristol, BS5 6AW

Easton Community Centre, Felix Road Adventure Playground and Up Our Street are coming together to form one organisation from 1 April 2020.

We need our members (i.e. residents of Easton and Lawrence Hill wards), to come to our EGM to vote on the merger (and our entry into the legal documents that will implement the merger), approve our new constitution and agree in theory the objects of the new organisation (which will be formally adopted as soon as possible after the merger completes, once we receive the Charity Commission’s approval).

If you are a member, and should you wish to, you have the right to appoint another person as your proxy to exercise all or any of your rights to attend and to speak and vote at this meeting. Please get in touch with us ahead of the meeting if you wish to exercise this right.
