About The Creative Enterprise Course

A week-long practical programme to support creative entrepreneurs. The course is designed for young creatives, from illustrators to designers, who are already confident practitioners of their chosen creative discipline, but would like to develop a portfolio and build skills to establish and grow a creative business.

Delivered by practicing freelance artists, it will teach you enterprise skills, whilst developing your creative network. You will have the chance to get to grips with essential marketing, finance and management skills, as well the popular Business Model Canvas technique. This ensures that you are able to manage the logistical and administrative aspects of your creative enterprise.

If you think you’ve got what it takes to be your own boss, our Creative Enterprise Course is the perfect way to learn the essential business skills required to thrive in either freelance or traditional employment.

 
Ages: 16 – 25

• What to do when it all goes wrong
• Building strong relationships and finding more work

• Professional mentoring
• Peer to peer learning and a chance to meet other young creatives
• Help in setting up as a freelance practitioner
• Professional business support

We are looking for really committed, confident practitioners, who have a clear idea of where they want to take their creative business, but aren’t sure how to get there. You must be passionate and driven to make your creative work a success. We are looking for people to use this opportunity to make their ambitions a reality, in a fun and supportive environment.
