People want to see themselves reflected in the communications they receive, so being aware of the diversity within your target audience is essential. In this session, Joy will explore ways to avoid token diversity, adding layers to your persona and how to be authentic with it all. Organisations are being held accountable for their actions more now than ever before so inclusive marketing and fundraising needs to be part of every strategy.

Joy will cover how brands can be a part of the movement for inclusive marketing using social media. We will look at examples of good and questionable campaigns such as Pepsi’s 2017 Kendall Jenner ad or Gillette's learning to shave ad. You will leave with tips and tools to make your content more accessible.
