Child-safe is based at the Avon and Somerset Constabulary Headquarters, near Bristol, and is the only child protection charity that is not only based at a police headquarters, but also has its origins firmly rooted in the investigative and pro-active working-style of the police.  It is supported and funded by the Bristol Safeguarding Children Board to run free child protection awareness seminars in Bristol. Voscur is part of the steeirng group.  
 
These Clubright seminars will help you to:
 
•    understand how to keep children and young people safe in your organisation and local community;
•    know your legal responsibilities;
•    provide practical advice and resources to help you develop effective child protection and safeguarding policies;
•    know who to go to for help if you have concerns or you are worried about a child.
 
All delegates will receive free membership to Clubright Online, giving you access to practical safeguarding resources and advice, as well as a Clubright pack, including orgainsers' guides, parents' guides, posters and lots more.
 
A second seminar takes place on the 11 February.
