St Pauls Carnival presents A Carnival Exhibition for Black History Month
This year St Pauls Carnival partnered with the Martin Parr foundation to host a photography programme which saw 12 volunteer photographers out on the streets, taking shots of the iconic event that is St Pauls Carnival!
The collection of photographs show the diverse of Carnival Day, from the Elders Brunch to the procession, to the sound systems getting everyone dancing well into the night.
The collection was exhibited at the Arnofini for a month during the summer and travelled to The Downs festival at the end of August.
Now, the we are bringing the exhibition home to St Pauls for Black History Month.
The event will take place on Thursday 17th October 2019 from 6.30pm- 9.00pm at Full Circle @ Docklands, St Pauls Settlement, 74-80 City road Bristol BS2 8UH where you will have a chance to view the fantastic images taken at this year’s carnival by international and local photographers.
