Aged 55+ and approaching retirement, recently retired, or facing redundancy? Join us on board the MV Balmoral to celebrate and find out more about volunteering in later life!

This FREE workshop will give attendees the chance to find out more about becoming a volunteer or trustee - what is involved, the benefits, and how to find the right opportunity! Featuring local volunteer stories, an exhibition of Harbourside volunteer portraits by photographer Sarah Robbins, and lots of information on where and how to find volunteering opportunities in and around Bristol.

The event is taking place on board the very special MV Balmoral. A 1949 passenger ship, currently docked in Bristol whilst she undergoes extensive upgrading, MV Balmoral is run entirely by volunteers and is a great example of a local volunteer-led project!

Free refreshments (tea, coffee and cake) will be served throughout the evening. The event is open to anyone aged 55+. The workshop is being run by LinkAge Network as part of the Post-Retirement Opportunities project.
