If you’re interested in volunteering during term time only, and want to do something fun but that won’t tie you down, come along to our volunteering taster hour.

We are Lifeskills – a truly unique safety education centre! Our friendly volunteers teach Year 6 primary school children how to keep themselves safe by taking them on an inter-active tour of our realistic village (which includes a road, beach, dark alleyway and even a railway platform). They'll experience lots of hazards and surprises along the way, and are taught how to deal with those situations, enabling them to lead safer lives. 

During our taster hour, you’ll hear about the incredible work we do and see us in action. After which, you’ll understand what being a Lifeskills volunteer is all about. You’re under no obligation, but if you do like what you see, we can discuss how you can get involved.
